TGO Permian, LLC is an independent Texas oil and gas company specializing in the exploration and development of promising onshore oil and natural gas prospects in Texas and other petroleum rich areas in the United States. We have recently brought together a group of seasoned oil and gas professionals with well over 100 combined years of successful exploration and production experience to form the core management team of TGO Permian. Our success at systematically exploring and developing onshore oil and natural gas prospects is not only attributed to the strengths and experience of our management team, but to our use of the latest 3-D seismic imaging techniques and other advanced technologies. Opportunity
In the 150 year history of the oil industry, times have never been better. Skyrocketing global demand and tightening supply are combining to create opportunities that are amazing. Global oil product demand is approximately 86 million barrels per day and continues to increase. (International Energy Agency, June 2007). This ever-increasing demand, along with supply concerns—geopolitical pressures, lack of new discoveries of easily-accessible oil—are continuing to push oil prices higher and higher. Nationalization of many remaining major worldwide oil and natural gas fields has forced major oil companies in the U.S. to seek projects that are much more difficult and costly to explore and produce, such as deep water projects on the Outer Continental Shelf in the Gulf of Mexico. Due to the size of “big oil,” they almost exclusively go after big projects that can justify their large exploration budgets and meaningfully affect their bottom line. But, big oil’s need to pursue these big projects has left behind a level playing field for the less sensational, yet vast on-shore projects that can be every bit as profitable for companies like TGO Permian. This is because we have a much lower cost of doing business than the majors, while possessing equal experience and advantages of technology.
The bottom line is that the current environment for independent oil and gas exploration companies like TGO Permian is ideal. The industry is experiencing record profits with possibilities that rival even the wide-open opportunities of the early 20th century oil boom.
